Challenge & Key Obstacles
Houseful had been using SMS across the group with different suppliers supporting different parts of the business. In 2010, Houseful’s cloud-based property software Jupix joined the Esendex platform and was subsequently followed by Expert Agent in 2019.
The group selected Esendex as its sole supplier in 2023, when its flagship Estate Agent CRM, Alto, also moved to Esendex. The Group chose the Esendex API as it was quick to integrate across its existing group platforms and processes and could be added to over time. Another important consideration was that the system needed to handle varying SMS volumes – ranging from thousands to millions – with the same system reliability and competitive send rates as a given.
As a frontrunner in the technology space, Houseful also wanted to identify an SMS provider that would innovate and support them as mobile and cloud-based communication evolved.
